Why not fix the major flaws and call it Windows Vista SE?
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

from a marketing standpoint, that would be an unacceptable public admission of those flaws.adventure_of_link wrote:Why not fix the major flaws and call it Windows Vista SE?
of course, from a different marketing standpoint, it would be a public acceptance AND redressing of said flaws.
Why yes, my shift key *IS* broken.

Okay, so I said some stuff that may or may not have been true about Windows, but I can at least say that from the calls I've received (I work for Dell Business Tech Support) is that far too many people have issues with Vista and I've heard customers tell me Vista sucks. That being said, I'm not gonna get it due to the issues it has.

Issues start with upgrading more often than not, but that's true with any OS out there, Windows or otherwise.snkcube wrote:Such as....? You're seriously not giving it a try because customers said it sucks? you get your opinion of vista from the retards who need Dell tech support?neo_bahamut1985 wrote:Okay, so I said some stuff that may or may not have been true about Windows, but I can at least say that from the calls I've received (I work for Dell Business Tech Support) is that far too many people have issues with Vista and I've heard customers tell me Vista sucks. and none of what you said was true.

you're always mistaken, and that's the problem. and my right to call you stupid happens whenever you post the stupid.
i don't mind vista. the only thing i don't like are the specs. it performs fine now after SP1, and has only crashed on me once. and my computers don't get turned off.
i've used it, and i have my opinion. what about you? you're basing your opinion of vista on the opinions of people who (a)bought a dell and (b)are stupid enough to need dell's tech support.
and all this on top of your first post that was so full of fail that gil had break it down point by point.

Believe it or not, even idiots buy PCs too. It doesn't matter who buys it, but yet you will get dumb issues with dumb users most of the time (I'm not saying any newbie's at fault, but if you actually see the ratio of dumb to smart questions, you'll see what I mean). It happens here all the time.
It doesn't matter what OEM you work with, it happens all the time. This is not new. You'll find the same with Linux users too. This is a boatload of durrrrrrrrrrr written all over it.
