Also note that Erim was never defeated except by herself. And even when she is, she keeps coming back.

It looks to me that the Lufia series is underappreciated and that noone is scared of a woman that loves you to death and also wants to stab you in the back.. all in the same person.

Yeah, it seems my experiment to determine if two people to be chosen between based on their abilities always degrades into a popularity contest when given to the masses. But we'll see...
