I've tried this several times so far, and it's not working. I have two instances of Kega up (one from Castlevania Bloodlines to King's Bounty and one for King's Bounty), and I don't hear a difference between the two.
Then again, I'm using these ROMs...
King's Bounty (UE) [!].bin
Castlevania - Bloodlines (U) [!].bin
I'll keep trying though.
EDIT: Okay, I hear the music cutting out on it from the one loaded from Castlevania, and not the one opened alone.
EDIT 2: Okay, yeah, there's an effect from loading the game while Castlevania is being played, it does indeed sound different to me. I'll WAV dump it if I need to.

I've already uploaded mp3s of both versions:
Fusion with Castlevania preload: http://www.firebrandx.com/downloads/fus ... riding.mp3
Actual hardware version: http://www.firebrandx.com/downloads/har ... riding.mp3
towards the end of the track, you can really hear the sound distortion getting worse, with notes starting to drop out.

BTW Steve, I wanted to thank you for the heads up on the doubleraw plugin. That's exactly what I was looking for! I now have just about everything I could want out of a Megadrive emulator. The only minor thing left would be to implement the bsnes method of allowing for zero-frame-skip vsync with stutterless sound. It really was a genius way byuu finally tackled that problem!

As a side note, feel free to spell out swear words fully.

<jmr> bsnes has the most accurate wiki page but it takes forever to load (or something)

Heh, cool, thanks. Some people are funny about that particular word so I wasn't sure.grinvader wrote:As a side note, feel free to spell out swear words fully.
Oh yeah, I know there's a lot of them, and it's cool that other people are adopting it (that's why I made it as easy to use as possible). But most of them look the same to me, and I can't see why anybody would need all of them loaded at once.Squall_Leonhart wrote:Steve, there is more interest in plugins then you'd think especially since vba-m gained the ability to use kega plugins.

Okay, I assumed that you had downloaded Regen at least once before, which isn't the case. I apologize.FirebrandX wrote:Yeah if I was psychic and knew to download Regen for a plugin to Fusion I didn't even know existed. I certainly could've done that.
Okay, I misread again. I thought he was referring to "Double" plugin. I apologize again.SteveSnake wrote:Except, of course, that it isn't.
Sometimes my brain is set on auto. Sorry again for my stupid post before.
