Backup Software
Anyone have any recommendations for decent backup software for Windows? Looking to backup several full directories or files to a windows share or to a server via SSH/SCP etc. Google yields too much shareware, so I figured I'd ask.

Until vista, then its business and ultimate editions I think.funkyass wrote:Windows does come with a back-up client...
Gil_Hamilton's advice is perfectly valid, and simple to setup and use. I had a friend in a neighboring hotel use this for the nightly backups of their database to 2 or 3 computers both on-site and off.
There are others. Wikipedia maintains a list of backup software and sorts it by open-source and proprietary.
Have you checked out Cobian Backup? It is pretty good for a freeware backup. Also, you could try a free online backup (2 gigs only with a free account) at www.idrive.com
I use both of these at work and I'm quite happy with them.
