yeah, the characters are pretty sweet.

Also it seems to run at 480p widescreen at 60fps, an impressive feat for the PS2.

The same for Gran Turismo 4. I believe it can also do 1080i, although it is a bit funky.
Try out CCleaner and other free software at Piriform

It can. Though I have no way to test how well it works.

I just finished Chibi-Robo, didn't 100% it, but I finished the main story.

I'm about 1 or 2 maps from finishing SUPER ROBOT WARS ALPHA GAIDEN, but I got a bit discouraged by learning what the new game plus was about.

I also got the Sonic Mega Collection, is it me or Sonic games are hard? I didn't owned a Genesis back then, but still, I'm having trouble playing any of the games on the disk, hell, I tried playing Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine and I couldn't advance farther than level 2!

Maybe the games are just not for me.

I didn't even know it HAD an NG+.

Details, please?

Bean Machine isn't really Sonic. Not even Sega-developed. It's a relabelled Puyo Puyo game.

In general, though... my impressions were always that Sonic was difficult to control.
The games were built around speedspeedspeedSPEED and once you got moving, you needed to know what was coming several screens ahead or you just couldn't do anything in time.

Last time I played a Sonic game, I had a lot more fun, though I certainly didn't set any land speed records. Made an active attempt to NOT get up to speed, and it became a decent enough platformer.

Well, first I heard it had a New Game Plus, so I was excited, I was going to replay the game with all my upgrades, levels and skills, PARTS, maybe not all the suits and units, but I could manage that, with that I was going to be able to play on normal and hard with no problems and cursing at the screen. FUN FOR A LIFE TIME, then I read at a faq, that the NG+ in SRWAG is quite "archaic" as in, it doesn't keep your upgrades, levels, parts, money or skills but gives you a certain amount of money to start the game again, if I recall correctly, the amounts are:

Easy: 1,000,000
Normal: 1,500,000
Hard: 2,000,000

Luckily I managed to get 13 skill points so I'm on normal, but who plays SRW knows that that isn't a lot of money.

I also have my thesis to do, so I'm taking advantage of this discouragement to type like a madman.

I hate Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, I mean, man, I can't suck soo much in a game.

And yeah, I tried treating the Sonic games as regular plataformers, and while I managed to do that with the first game, I can't say the same of the later ones, too much loops I guess.

I'll keep on trying though, they are good for 15 minute breaks.

Ah.
It provides a quick boost at the start rather than a sustained asskicking.

Could be worse. If I recall, one of the OG games unlocks a hard mode where you CAN'T UPGRADE ANYTHING, and you have to clear THAT before you get the NG+.

Ah no, the first OG game had you finish BOTH scenarios before unlocking NG+, which game you all the money and skill points for each pilot you had.

The second OG game had that super hard option, but you would still get the regular NG+, but instead of getting all the skill points per pilot, you would only get half of them for each. After you finished the super hard option, you would get a super easy option, with all your mech's stats maxxed.

I know my OG games :D.

Fake edit: I actually never beat either of the OG games. Made it to the last stage both times.

yes I have it, it's great. I had heard about Gran Turismo and it' s 1080i is truly a remarkable feat. Still, I expected it from them but never knew Radiata Stories' impressive tech.

Hey, so I already said I completed my games (GTA4, MGS4, Bioshock). Well, I did, but I don't remember if I said so.

I picked up a copy of Ninja Gaiden Sigma yesterday. I'm very proud of that decision.
Also downloaded a demo of Sonic Unleashed. Suffice to say I will be on a certain railway network again in the same week.

Will get Bionic Commando Rearmed soon.
