I've only played RE4 and Code Veronica.

RE4 is fucking awesome.
Code Veronica was not.

I also spent a little time with the Windows port of RE1. I refrain from reviewing that, as I never even saw a zombie(which tells you HOW little time I spent with it).

Either way, the only RE I was exposed to ever was;

A) My uncle playing it and I saw something pop out of a wall and I was like "woah playstation, its different."

B) One of the movies, I think the first. No others, and I don't really remember it.

I like RE3. Nemesis stalking you for most of the game is definately creepy.

Why not 2? Re2 is bloody awesome, but not awesome enough to be a favourite.
I wish I could put the GC remake of re1 on this list, but alas I've enver played it. I shall be fixing that error in the future, however.

I own all the major console releases.

The Directors Cut of RE,RE2 and RE3 for the PS3
RE0,RE1 2.0, RE2,RE3,RE4,and CVX for the Cube
and The Umbrella Chronicles and RE4 for the Wii

Re4 is top of the list
Followed by RE 1 remake, RE2 and 3.

RE0 is Ok.

UC and CV are mehish.
