Actually, we probably could make a subforum anyone can read and noone could write to (well, besides admins, for cleanup and maintaining's sakes).
You would only be able to move stuff there and it would be kept pretty much intact.

don't make me laugh, you didn't even know who D was when he showed up, and you made an ass of yourself, almost intentionally with him too.ZH/Franky wrote:After that, I just stayed here because. The only persons here that I respect are:

The instruction set of the 6502 is the 6502 instruction set.
The instruction set of the Z80 is the Z80 instruction set.
The instruction set of the 68000 is the 68000 instruction set.
The instruction set of the 486 is the x86 instruction set.
The instruction set of the MIPS is the MIPS instruction set.
Would you like to try guessing again what the instruction set of the Loongson is?
Let me guess, the Spoony-bard instruction set?
Respect is earned, if you act like an ass people will treat you like an ass.

Heh, I actually wasn't even totally friendly about that, either. Was kinda cranky because I had to drag my SNES, copier and TV out of the closet, then hook up all those damned cables, to test that for nothing :P(I thought there was a bug when I tried to play that sailor moon game, only to eventually find out that actually, the thing that made me think it was a bug actually happened on real hardware too)
(was in the middle of moving then.)
Anyway, wish you well wherever you go. Not sure what happened lately, but I hope you find a place that treats you better where you can be happy.

I don't get off on pain and suffering, I just like pain, like how people like ice cream and stuff. Nothing sexual or anything like that. So don't worry.

Well, someone else suggested nick changes, and we allowed it, so long as it doesn't get abusedFirebrandX wrote:On another note, can the admins make it so people cannot change their forum nick? Nick-changing should be off limits IMO.

"Abused" would be trying to pass off as someone else by suddenly changing your nick, signature, avatar (if any) and post count all at the same time.
It's pretty hard to pull, also ineffective since anyone can check a user's previous posts after whatever changes.

Its not phpbb3. Look a the url.ZH/Franky wrote:I'm pretty sure there is a "all delete" button. Admins of a phpBB3 board can delete every single post created by a given person... with a single click of a button. Does phpBB2 have this functionality? If so, deleting all of my posts should only eat up about 3 seconds of your time. Deleting my account should take a further 3 seconds.
