Wow, one minute your not pointing fingers without proof and now you are?

As I said, though I have a good idea of who's responsible, I won't publicly point fingers without proof. Thus, I'd never say "it was Aerdan who did this", or "ignore this hypothetical quoting thing -- I'm dead serious, it was definitely Aerdan." No sir. That would be tactless.

I'm going to give Mudlord/h4tred the benefit of the doubt. It is indeed possible that somebody is trying to frame him for this, so I can't rule that out nor I can't rule him out as a possible suspect either. It's not awfully hard to contemplate that a person could observe how Mudlord talks and replicate it in posts. I'm afraid we'll probably never know either way sadly. To me it seems a little too obvious that it could be traced back to him in some manner. Like I said before, I spell a rat. There's treachery a-foot!

But, who's a couple people online that hates you and are capable of pulling this kind of thing off?

I say forget about this mess ever happened and move on.

As I said, I know some people in real life and in the warez scene that want to do such a thing, and that are capable.

That is correct. I can understand where you people are coming from. I suppose you people could permaban me and you's could hope as a result the person leaves. Or you could just ban regardless to satisfy suspicions even though they are false. The real culprit might leave as a result, and I reckon me being permabanned is a small price(?) to pay for forum sanity. Either way, I get permabanned regardless, but it doesn't stop me working on stuff or publishing stuff for the online community. Its a dilemma, but I am willing to participate in this idea.

The person could be reading this and laughing but meh, I am serious in this proposition....

Just to be fair don't you find it a little suspicious that we could be so easily lead to believe it was Mudlord? That's what I don't get. Why would somebody talk like you on other sites and have outbursts like you, when people would automatically assume it's you. The possible point to this would be to get your reputation scarred beyond repaired and completely exiled.

By banning him or completely outcasting him-we could be doing exactly what the person responsible for this wants. Assuming of course there's a third party trying to go after your head.

I just find it odd and suspicious and that's my two cents.

I'd have to agree. What they don't understand is my reputation is already beyond repair and I am already exiled from several emulation related sites including the Project64 and ngemu sites.

So, its no big loss.

Because this poster used a proxy, it woudl be impossible to point out exactly who did this. However, look at it in our position, h4tred. Who else has caused trouble and was saying "fuck this board" recently? For someone who hates this board so much, you certainly spend a lot of time here.

That being said, there is little point continuing this bickering. Let's move on.
