Is there anyway to Ignore aspect ratio in the Video settings ?

Also, make sure "KEEP 4:3 RATIO" is unchecked, under the "FILTERS" tab.

i was going to ask some sort of rhetorical question like, "are you daft?" or "are you stupid?" but then i realized two things:

* they could be called something different in australia
* it's franpa

Actually, I'm wondering if they'll rebrand those later as widescreen becomes the norm. It'd be hilarious watching future people try to figure out why it was called fullscreen when it didn't fill the screen.

That would be interesting. at least it's becoming less of an issue now, as blu-rays don't come in full/wide version. just the original ratio, like it should have been all along.
