gigadeath at the No-Intro told this.http://www.geocities.com/sgextreme/darius_plus.html
Darius Plus has the distinction of being a game that will run on a normal PC Engine but enjoys improvements in performance when run on the SuperGrafx
Technically it's a plain old Pc-Engine game, as clearly seen on the box artwork. Might be emulation problems when run in plain Turbografx mode.

I'll have a build ready to give out to some testers in coming week or soI'm pleased to see how far this emulator is going. I'm glad that it could play CD games so far.

No, I won't be adding PC-FX emulation.Will the PC-FX be next in 2-4 years?

I could probably use that energy on some other machine

Thanks.Dullaron wrote:No problem AamirM.
I willing to try out beta for testing.
I am right now adding a audio plugin support which will allow others to add support for audio formats like FLAC/APE/[insert favourite format] etc..
By default, OGG and MusePack(.mpc) (and WAVE of course) format support will be built-in since these are the ones in which most CUE RIPs are available.
Also, a few sound issues have come up which I am trying to fix.
All in all, its still progressing

Turbo Engine 0.3 has been released!!
Download from here.
Sorry I couldn't add some more stuff which people and (myself) wanted. Most importantly the audio plugins and command line support. I am kinda releasing this in a hurry as a certain health issue will keep me away from internet for some days. Anyways, enjoy!
stay safe,
AamirM

Sharp X68000?AamirM wrote:No, I won't be adding PC-FX emulation.Will the PC-FX be next in 2-4 years?

Castlevania Chronicles enhanced remake with internal clock
Lagoon, Emerald Dragon, Gradius 1, 2, Salamander, Parodius, Twinbee 1, 2, Final Fight, Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Street Fighter II Champion Edition, Super Street Fighter II, Strider
similar hardware to arcades of it's time, not very many emulators made for it so it'd be worth your time.
and many more. What do you think? Sharp X68000 for the win.
good to hear, not a lot to do on this now with full cd games with sound support. Keep up the great workAamirM wrote:Turbo Engine 0.3 has been released!!
Seriously, what kind of asshole makes an old-school 2D emulator that requires a Core 2 to get full speed? >:(
Whoa, I just read up on it a bit and its quite nice. But you see, I've already started on a new "secret" projectWhat do you think? Sharp X68000 for the win.

Thanks for the link Dullaron.ftp://ftp6.nero.com/wnaspi32.dll

Vista 32/64-bit users may want to check out this. I've read that other ASPI drivers don't under Vista except this one.
I had SPTI support in TE as well, but for some reason, it would work incorrectly under release builds

ooh nice, well, depending on how long this next project takes, the system may still be in need so keep it in the back of your mindAamirM wrote:Whoa, I just read up on it a bit and its quite nice. SuperGrafx isn't picking it up right on Darius Plus (Japan). There a line going across at the top.
Maybe this a bad dump that I have. No-Intro NEC - PC Engine - TurboGrafx 16 (20090529_CM) isn't showing missing. What you guys think?

I thought about this before on the PCE when the bullets are missing.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Update on PCE.
Sometimes 1943 Kai (Japan) keep blinking the pieces of clouds in and out.

Another thing my Microsoft controller doesn't work on controller settings. Only works on the keyboard settings. Weird huh?

Thanks for the report. Looks like a bug in the SGX video priority controller code.SuperGrafx isn't picking it up right on Darius Plus (Japan). There a line going across at the top.
Have you tried configuring with it? Means, press buttons on the controller to see if they get accepted. Do they work in Regen?Another thing my Microsoft controller doesn't work on controller settings. Only works on the keyboard settings. Weird huh?
I will for sureooh nice, well, depending on how long this next project takes, the system may still be in need so keep it in the back of your mind
