It might have had a minor update since my post, it works now. before it was saying it was only for older browsers (the link at the official addon site, not the addons homepage)Squall_Leonhart wrote:Works fine, learn how to use firefox properlyfranpa wrote:Lol nosquint doesn't work with Firefox 3.5 yet >.> it works with the release candidates though.
Core i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ | ASUS P6T Motherboard | 8GB DDR3 1600 RAM | Gigabyte Geforce 760 4GB | Windows 10 Pro x64
I no longer need this, I fixed my display scaling issues with lower resolutions via adding them to the Nvidia Control Panel, Otherwise I would experience a 640x480 desktop surrounded by a huge black border @ 1280x960 for instance. (1600x1200 wasn't affected by the bug but I needed nosquint to read things at that resolution)

Get glasses. specifically those meant for use when you're in front of a computer for long periods of time.franpa wrote:You guys try reading for long periods of time on a Hitachi SuperScan 811 monitor @ 1600x1200 60hz. -.-

You're using a CRT?franpa wrote:I no longer need this, I fixed my display scaling issues with lower resolutions via adding them to the Nvidia Control Panel, Otherwise I would experience a 640x480 desktop surrounded by a huge black border @ 1280x960 for instance. Why the hell didn't you just adjust the image stretch controls?

Wow, a valid reason. Keep getting irradiated by CRT emissions, franpa. It's doing you good.

Is there a separate control labeled zoom? I know my CRTs had two sets of controls.franpa wrote:because there already at 90% in each direction and I needed to enlarge the image by about 200 or so %.
Their menu guys intended zoom to be used to enlarge the image, and stretch to be used to adjust the geometry.

they are the only options to adjust the image dimensions/size/position. Other controls include white temperature, contrast/brightness.

Write your monitor manufacturer, tell them they're gay, and you want a firmware upgrade.

Re: apply permanent text zoom in Firefox 3.5?
Although you've solved it, in the about:config
type zoom
You'll find an option to turn site specific zoom true/false.
If you decide to go the stylesheet approach in the userContent.css try
* { font-size: 1em !important;
font-family: "Liberation Mono" !important;
line-height: 1.5em !important;}
I personally don't like huge headings then tiny font etc...
