ZSNES freezes when inputting keys

Whenever I try to input keys on any version of ZSNES, it freezes and I have to ctrl+alt+delete to get out. Any ideas? I'm using a Logitech Dual Action gamepad.

Use Gamepad->Keyboard mapping software like Joy2Key.. and/or disable the one that comes with your gamepad.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't used to have this problem, it's something that has happened recently, and I'd like to fix the problem and not just cover it up.

Then what have you changed recently on your computer?
