Star Fox 2 - The Whole Story
My latest article is on the unreleased game, Star Fox 2. I spent nearly two months working on this article, and I think I found a ton ton of interesting things about the game. The game is hella fun!
<pagefault> i'd break up with my wife if she said FF8 was awesome

Another nice article, as always.
And this is a very nice game. Played it when the translation was first out. Good stuff.

<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

I'm just glad it actually got finished.Deathlike2 wrote:It certainly would've been interesting if it were released...
How many really awesome-looking games got canned before they were ever to a playable state?

Fun read. That's a lot of info you collected, great to have it all in one place.
True but, I actually find it far less frustrating to hear about an interesting game that never got fully developed, than to know about one that got practically finished but will never have a chance to see the light of day, and instead is rotting in an archive somewhere. See Resident Evil 1.5, for example.Gil_Hamilton wrote:I'm just glad it actually got finished.Deathlike2 wrote:It certainly would've been interesting if it were released...

See, my logic is... we don't know they were actually finished unless they get leaked.blackmyst wrote:Fun read. That's a lot of info you collected, great to have it all in one place.

Great article! I have to say though, on Star Fox 2, it's just not as fun as the original, which I adore. I remember I was fervently searching everywhere to download Star Fox 2 when I first caught the rumours of the betas or whatever they were. Overall I've played it only a few times. The original Star Fox is just better. I think it's the aesthetics that are more appealing, the music, clean uncluttered gameplay, etc. And the Arwing walker mode is silly.
