tried numpad keys, still didnt work, so i left them set as 7 and 9 as L and R quit out of zsnes/chrono trigger and im about to go back in and see if that made a difference

still does nothing. and i still cant get it to configure to my recoil gamepad. GRR

I'm having the same problem as well. I've tried every suggestion given. I've assigned all buttons to the same key, I've done the ctrl, alt, and shift keys, and I've assigned just L and R to one key. Nothing has worked. Is it my rom? Is this just a lost cause?

Chances are some of you guys are doing it wrong.

Map it through Input #1, not through Key Comb (although you can do it through Key Comb, but that's for people that know what they are doing).
