zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) Turbo Key
Hello, I used to be able to get the turbo on my zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) Emulator, but once I reset the keys I can't find how to set my turbo key to speed up my game does anyone know how?

Config->Input
If you mistakenly disabled the controls altogether, select Keyboard/Mouse and then click on the "Set" button. You should be able to configure it then.

I can set my keys, but I have no clue waht the turbo buttons do, because I want to speed up my whole game the turbo x and y and all of those buttons just keep spamming the same letter over and over again. I just want the whole game to go faster, like a speed up key.

Then open the Config menu and click Speed at the bottom. Assign a key, axis, or button to the Fast Forward action.

Those Turbo keys are supposed to simulate multiple button presses. kode explained exactly where to go anyways.
My suggestion for the future is to learn how to use ZSNES. It would serve you well in incidents like this.

Yes, it's the newbie's fault Deathlike pointed him to the wrong "turbo" setting.

I don't mind taking the fall for misreading.
On the other hand, I could have resorted to RTFM. I mean... if you've used the emu long enough to reset the cfg, you could at least learn check out stuff in the menus.

True. I'm not faulting you. especially given that's the conventional usage for turbo.Deathlike2 wrote:I don't mind taking the fall for misreading.

But everyone else piling on the guy for going "But that's rapid-fire, not fast-forward!" is just ridiculous.

Yes, who knows, maybe he wasn't around when they were peddling rapid fire or turbo game controllers for consoles. Or maybe wherever he lives had the terms translated poorly.
