Aeon Genesis has released their English translation of Tactics Ogre (as opposed to the Al Bhed version released this time last week.) It's complete and only slightly buggy. Enjoy!
hey...sweet. I've been waiting this for a long time.
question about the rom though. the screen freezes to black whenever new members join my army. is this an issue with the patch or the rom, and how do i fix it?
So GUYS, I want to try this game, but Zsnes' fast-forward magic button has spoiled me (And VGB Advance's key too), so I have read that zsnes has issues with this game and I have read that the emu to use is bsnes.
I haven't used bsnes, but IIRC sometime, someplace, I read that Byuu was not interested in such features, is a fast-forward key feature included in bsnes? Or am I destined to play the game as Nintendo intended me to?
I'm so far behind emulation, that this might be a stupid question, but I will take my chances.

SNES9x also works. That's what it was developed with, and predominately tested with, if I recall.

You have your 2s, 4s, 8s, 16s, 32s, 64s, and 128s(crash course in binary counting!). But no 1s.
DirectInput represents all bits, not just powers of 2 in an axis.

Bsnes has a turbo button just like Zsnes etc. it makes it emulate as fast as possible (no frame rate cap) which is roughly 2x speed (120~fps) on my i7 920 for Super Mario All-Stars + World >.>
Core i7 920 @ 2.66GHZ | ASUS P6T Motherboard | 8GB DDR3 1600 RAM | Gigabyte Geforce 760 4GB | Windows 10 Pro x64
btw the chapter cutscene still does not display correctly, even w/ bsnes. (snes9x does not work either). not sure if this is a patch issue or rom issue.

i was going to give bsnes a spin recently, and jma support appears to have been dropped. so then i was all, nuh-uh.
kode54 wrote:People actually have enough similar ROMs in their systems to use JMA? You know, other than those stupid hoarders who have complete sets.
it's not that i have similar roms.
i have badinsult's US pack from the boat (i can't remember if there were duplicates or not. if there were, i deleted them), and i jma'd them to save space. i admit it's not really an issue now, but i don't want to go back and undo the whole thing. just to try out an emulator.
