Rom dumps of the Japanese cartridge of Little Magic bearing a CRC32 of 9654194d seem to suffer occasional freezes at the level-selection screen.
Those seem to be especially prominent on the latter levels, though they sometimes happen on the earliest levels.
Workarounds include using other emulators, such as Snes9x and bsnes (the latter requiring a performant machine).

It would be a dream for one to put his own hands on a quick fix for that one, though.

You are probably best off using SNES9x, it is unlikely a fix will be out anytime soon.

Just a quick note that I am offering a few bucks to the first one that ever gets to integrate a hack fix for this to the v1.51 executable.
I am not rich but if you want to settle a deal contact me. Just a little sum to basically motivate some (random) developer towards my own ends.

I do not know about that. The only thing I know is that one of the hacks included in previous versions was fixing it. It is such a port I am interested in.
