Full screen no sound, in window mode i do get sound..help

Running windows7 x64 ultimate. nvidia 560ti, amd phenom II quad core. I am running HDMI from video card into a Pioneer VSX-1020k reciever then out to the T.V.
that being said..

Sound works fine in windowed mode, but as soon as I go to full screen the audio then defaults to my headphones (or analogue audio output i.e 3.5mm jacks on back of computer). Almost like it is changing the default audio source without prompting me.

It's odd because it works in window mode not in full screen..

check your settings in the sound control panel. does it do that for any other full-screen games?

nope.. i play all sorts of newer games all full screen and have no problems. its only with zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) in full screen. and do you mean control panel in windows or in zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator)?

ok i seem to have the sound working in full screen mode! What i did was went into Windows Sound Config, then disabled all audio sources EXCEPT my Pioneer VSX1020k receiver. Thanks for the replies

The emulator is named ZSNES.
