Unload States?

Post by gregalar21 »

ok so while playing Secret of Mana (possibly one of my most favourite games of all time) and whilst playing I saved a state by mistake. not a massive deal as I use the in-game saving facility which has never failed me. Then while playing I accidentally loaded that state which took me quite a way back in the game and I lost my in-game save as that state was loaded. Is it possible to unload that state to get my original game back?

Thanks in advanced :)

No.

Longer, more complicated answer: My understanding is that IF you had rewind enabled before you loaded the state, you could have rewound to back before you loaded the state. If you don't have rewind enabled, or if the rewind interval is already past, or if you've quit the game since then, the answer is no.

You have your 2s, 4s, 8s, 16s, 32s, 64s, and 128s(crash course in binary counting!). But no 1s.
DirectInput represents all bits, not just powers of 2 in an axis.
