Hi all! I simply adore my ZSNES, and I've played several games on it so far. I recently decided to play the old Fire Emblem games, a favorite series of mine that I could never play the early games of because they weren't released in english. I downloaded the games, some translation patches... and I'm still doing something wrong. I was able to play numbers 1 and 2 no problem on the jnes, and I can get game number 4 to load onto my zsnes, but i can't get games 3, 5, or 6 to work, getting a "chksum fail" every time I try to load.
Thing is, I have no idea why 4 would work, and not the others. I'm doing the same thing for them all, and yet getting different results. If all else fails I have a tech friend I could call a favor in to next week if I need too, but I was hoping to try to figure this out on my own, and figured I might try asking here, see if anyone could help me out. I know it's not much to work on, as I'll be the first to admit I am NOT a tech person so I apologize for being a little slow and not knowing all the tech terms I might need for this.
Still, if anyone can help me, I would be most grateful!
Could some nice person help me load some games? :)

A given patch may or may not require the ROM image to have a copier header. Depending on whether your ROM dumps have a header already or not, you may use NSRT to add or remove a header.

Or, personal favourite, just edit the patch itself to make it work on clean roms. Here again, NSRT saves the day.
