Whenever I have VSYNC on Theres still a diagonal line, running from the top right to about 1 inch down on the left side of my screen. Im just wondering if anyone else has this when they use VSYNC, or its just my video.
I would use triple buffering but that presents input lag, ie:// It feels like im playing online with button latency when really im offline.
No really, it's like people claiming to hear the difference between 48000 and 96000 hz.
hahaha Nice!

Technically I don't think there is much of a difference in ZSNES... Even if you set it to 32000, your sound card automatically resamples it (usually 48000). So there really is no reason to set it above the SNES's native sample rate anyways, you may as well let the hardware do it for you right? So that's probably why you can't tell the difference
I mean in general. One time when I was making a bunch of sound effects smaller by changing the frequency, I didn't hear any sound loss, usually, until it went below 22,025Hz.
Well, suggestion can be quite powerful. It can make you feel and believe lots of things.
Just try to switch between triple buffering and no triple buffering a few times and try to accurately detect the difference. You'll find that after a while it becomes inscreasingly harder to notice.
Of course, it could also be that you're experiencing some sort of error. I've had it on my previous computer on several applications including Zsnes, but it would always solve itself and return back to normal over time.

I have changed back and forth and it is noticable. Mabye im the only one, but it makes playing some games an extra challenge. Mabye someone can answer the vsync question instead of questioning how I see things?

Dunno about the later example, but I know I've experienced input lags with some joypads/adapters and not with some others (not any noticable in any case) so it can happen. In some extreme cases: we're talking something like half a sec. Something anyone but the most drugged out addict can notice.
I think actually it's not the first time someone mention the input lag after turning on triple buffering. Don't know what would cause this.
