One of the What's News listed for windows is "Fixed Minimize Bug" by pagefault.

Shouldn't this be omitted? I believe the bug first appeared in a May wip, and was fixed the same month.

Edit: According to Agozer's changelog list, this fix was implemented into the May 8th 2004 WIP.

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http% ... readme.htm
before you criticise - get the latest info.

that is not the correct url for the documentation (much newer at http://richardc.silohware.com/ ), and ALL of the errors from that validator URL is because of GeoCities added advertisements. If you had just given it a 2 sec look.....
Yes, because why should anybody think that your first post would contain the correct URL? Silly foolish me!!! I can't believe I was so stupid as to think you'd edit your post if the link changed.

EDIT: And as I write this, your site's down.

Cool! Keep up the good work everyone! I hope it's going very smoothly
for all of you who are helping! FYI, I am not going to post anything after
this message for a while (I really mean it this time). Some of you guys were just plain jerks (*cough* Clements *cough*), others were nice, like Richard C., Nach, Pagefault, and Kode 54. The rest of you, I don't know what the heck your problem is, but you should really stop being jerks and only jerks to me before you go to far. I earnestly am not posting anything
for a long time. I may come here, but no one will know (I'm pretty sure no one will care, either). So, I'm going now. Screw all of you who were criticizing and ostracizing me.

I think we're getting close to the final version of the windows docs before ZSNES v1.40 is released. I've taken into concideration everything everyone has said, changed the bugs, etc, and I am very confident there is little to be edited beofre it is final.

EDIT: I am aware that the credits section is still incomplete. I need someone to make a list for me so that we give credit to everyone.

As always, you can find the latest version at http://richardc.silohware.com/, or you can download the docs at http://richardc.silohware.com/zsnes_docs.zip.

I've also started a IRC channel on freenode for anyone interested in helping me in real-time. The FreeNode server is irc.freenode.net, and the channel is #zsnes-docs.

The ZSNES and Windows XP logos are a bit darker than the background color. I'm using IE 6 to test this. Pic

Richard C.,

I made a few minor changes and grammar fixes to bugreports.htm

Let me know if you want me to email it to you. :)

EDIT: http://www.geocities.com/icefox150/wind ... eports.htm

I also fixed up faq.htm I changed occurences of "Zsnes" to "ZSNES", fixed punctuation, and fixed grammar. I did not actually update the questions, though.

I am new member to the forums, but I have been reading these posts for a long time now. I promise I will not make the mistake other people have made (like a guy called "gaijinx1", don't know 'im, but I think he's a fool). I will never bug anyone about Zsnes and when it's coming out. I've been keeping up with Zsnes documentation though, and I know it's coming along very nicely. Keep up the good work, I know you can do it! If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know.

It's so funny I've fallen from my chair.
Gaijinx1, for the love of god, at least change your damn IP when you do something like this.

Either that, or do like Icecreamz: keep your old account and just say "ok i'll stop the shit now, sorry" and stop the shit for good.

Yes in fact there is.

I need someone to write up a complete guide on how to use SPC7110 graphics packs, including default paths. Also a guide on BIOS/Base carts.

It'd be a great help if you can do that for me, can't release the new version till all the new features are documented.

Please forgive me for nagging you people. Geez, why shouldn't I be excited for it's release? Who isn't? I'll stop asking about it. I solemnly swear I shall not ask anyone on this forum about Zsnes. I will drop the crap you're so pissed about. I'll respect everyone on this forum. Just one
more thing, please don't piss me off either.

Um...
So does that mean you are or aren't willing to help get this release out faster?

I really need someone to write up that documentation.

Sorry about that! Forgot to mention that I would like to help. I just need to know what I need to do to start off the SPC7110 documentation. I'll do whatever I can.

Get some of the SPC7110 games.
Get the SPC7110 packs, and explain what you had to do to get say FEOEZ working.

I might add that SPL4 and MDH aren't correctly emulated by ZSNES at the moment, but ZSNES does load the packs for them.

Here's some stuff you might need to get started:

I don't know what games use that chip. If I know the names, I can find them in a snap. I know about the other chips, but not the SPC7110.

That's why I linked you to my chip info page.
Look what it says next to SPC7110.

Well, Nach, I typed a SPC7110 How-to guide (most likely full of typos), in a whopping 20 minutes. I did some SPC7110 research and described how to apply the patch in Zsnes. But there's one itty bitty little problem. I don't know how to attach the file to my message. If you can tell me how to do this, you will receive your SPC7110 guide.

Well, I've been correcting a lot of the documents. :) Although unofficial, my progress is at www.geocities.com/icefox150/windows/readme.htm

In the What's New for the Windows Port only, I removed "Fix minimize bug [pagefault]", since this bug was introduced in the May 1st 2004 WIP and fixed in the May 8th 2004 WIP. In other words, it's nothing new from 1.36.

I've changed a lot of occurences of "Zsnes" to "ZSNES".

I've made URLs into hyperlinks.

And grammar fixes. You might be surprised at some of the minor, nitpick things I've fixed. :p

The Firefox buttons are directly next to each other now, with no space in between.

That's all I can think of for now.

EDIT: For some reason, some of the font sizes are too big, such as on the FAQ and above the Firefox buttons at the bottom. :?:

Problem with "changes.htm" it says "Updated default configuration, in general. For example, stereo sound is now enabled by default at 32khz, with gauissian interpolation. [pagefault]" The word "gauissian" should be
"gaussian". That's according the emulator.
