ive taken snapshots of parts of a game....but i cant find them...sooo...how do i find them?

same place it saves the files; same name as game except it's a bitmap file

oh coo thanks...another question though...i cant upload my Shy Guy avatar onto my profile,it is 40X40 pixels and 4.75 KB but it still wont let me upload

Did you upload it on the internet and can't link to it, or are you trying to upload it on this site from your computer, because you can't do that second one.

Avoid windows bitmaps, especially on the internet. They utilize no significant compression, are defined bottom-up (which causes large bitmaps to load bottom up in browsers as they're downloaded), and are dominantly used only on windows.

I recommend PNG. It's lossless with good to excellent compression, and is defined like most other formats bottom-down.

I'm curious as to whether that site allows linking from referrers outside the domain:

Apparently, phpBB is smarter than the average induhvidual. It doesn't even bother parsing the url if it's filename is BMP.

474 bytes, rather than 4.74 kbyte for the original image.

You could simply right-click the image I gave you in any modern browser, save it to disk, and then upload it to the server of your choice.
