Request: Customizable Slowdown, Rewind, and Fast Forward

Fast Forward, Rewind, and Slow down are great options but I have a request to make about them

could there be options to customize the speed of fast forward and slow down
and options to choose the rewind intervals (like in Visual Boy Advance)

Fast forward especially. One tap of the fast forward key on my powerful computer can leave me across an entire level.

I think this has been asked many times before, but I'm not too clear about the devs' take on it. It's most likely not the highest priority.
