Problem with zipped ROMs in ZSNES 1.41

Hello.
I'm having a problem with the new release of ZSNES (ZSNES 1.41). The problem is that when I select zipped ROMs from the browser, ZSNES immediately exits. I tried deleting both config files, but the problem still persists.

There is a test build that addresses this issue.

Deleting the config file or enabling auto-patching in the options menu will fix it.
