HELP!!
I am having trouble with ZSNES. Everytime I load a SMW hack, it says CHKSUM=FAIL and it is really bothering me. Please help me.

this is expected behavior if the hacker didn't correct the checksum.
Why yes, my shift key *IS* broken.

This is how it should be. You patched the game with a hack, of course the checksum should fail, because it's not the original SMW anymore. Only the original game should have a correct checksum.

the behavior is "by design" but the smw hack should run okay in zsnes.
only the original smw hacker who made the hack can fix the checksum with the lunar magic tool

If it bothers you that much just disable the rominfo display.
