Can't tell if you're reacting to the actual message, or to the use of a cipher? I thought this particular cipher was appropriate, given the message. I was originally going to use a rot13 with a completely different message, but then thought the key cipher to a video game that probably turned a lot of people 10 years my junior into furries would be appropriate.
