Try this.
Go to this post and follow the direction for Star Ocean Graphics Packs.
Graphics Pack (S-DD1) FAQ
and use the latest WIP of ZSNES.
see if that does anything.
Question:
What are your system specs?

Sorry, I assumed too much.
You have never used ZSNES before have you?
It is by far the best emu out there for the SNES.
ZSNES is the official SNES emulator of this forum.
Go to ZSNES WIP page
You can download a WIP copy of the Emulator form there.
Just in case you ask WIP = Work In Progress.
You are using Windows right.
Her is the direct link to the Windows Version of the Emu.
ZSNES for Windows
MAKE sure to right-click on the mouce and click "Save Target As".
As for your System specs goes.?
You are using Windows right. 98/2000/XP ???
Right click on MY Computer and choose Propeties.
It should say how much memory you have in MB
and the speed of your Processor in MHz or Ghz.
How much do you know about computers?

Hey, that a nice machine you got there.
Thats DDR SDRAM for your Main memory right.
What Video card do you have?
Radeon? Nvidia?
How many MB of Video memory do you have.
HyperThreading do you know what that is?
As far as the machine I am using goes it is a piece of Junk.
300Mhz, 48MB SDRAM, on DIAL-UP(Evil-SLOW).
Which ofcourse is not mine, just borrowing it.

Video card- Nvidia GeForce fx- 5200, 128mb of memory
I'm not quite sure what Hyper Threadinging means, isn't is something like memory passing through your machine at a faster rate allowing you to do more things at once- e.g installing a game and playing a game or something.
And I am running on an internal 56k modem *shudders*

Sweet you have one of the best video cards I know of.Saffron wrote:Video card- Nvidia GeForce fx- 5200, 128mb of memory

Hyper Threading creates and runs 2 Logic Processors out of the Main CPU.
A program has to be designed to be designed to take advantage of this
feature. I may be Wrong with this Last statement.
Here are some links to Web Sites I found that Explain what HyperThreading is and what it does:
Intel's Pentium 4 Hyper-Threading Technology
October 3, 2002 -- Desktop Hyper-Threading – Coming Soon!
Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor with HT Technology
It sucks being on DIAL-UP.
Cannot download anything without waiting hours and hours.
There just is not a purpose to the existance of DIAL-UP.

ATi Radeon X800 series. So far. The new line of nVidia's cards offer a good challenge though.joe_devore wrote:Compared to a Shitty on-board VideoCard I am forced to use it is a hell of alot better.Agozer wrote:Is the nVidia GeForce 5200 really that good? I doubt it.
SO, What is the best know video card in existence you know of.
3GHz processor, 512MB and an FX 5200 is enough for the Dreamcast emulator Chankast let alone ZSNES with it's 200MHz minimum requirement.
Snes9x 1.42 and above have on the fly S-DD1 decompression, and Snes9x works a bit better with Star Ocean due to weird unsolved bugs in ZSNES. Get 1.43-WIP1 for great justice, and then you should be able to move every 'zig' effectively.

Something like the GeForce 6800 or some Radeon card, I'm too lazy to check what number those are up to now.joe_devore wrote:Compared to a Shitty on-board VideoCard I am forced to use it is a hell of alot better.Agozer wrote:Is the nVidia GeForce 5200 really that good? I doubt it.

A 5200 does beat onboard video by a mile though, even if anything does...
Everything I say is a lie.

In a nut shell, it is a sidescrollin' shoot'em up for the Sega Genesis, that is well known for its intro, that was "impressively" translated:joe_devore wrote:I AM not IGNORANT,![]()

The only text with bad grammar is the intro, and for god's sake it's a rather decent genesis *shooter*.
You don't care about engrish, as the whole gaming part of Zero Wing is text-less.
And comparing Zero Wing with MMX is like comparing jello and concrete. MMX is a platform game. (JB would say 'action/platform', even)

But I still do not like Side scrolling Shooters.
