why is the game freezing alot

i downloaded the englesh translated version and the newest zsnes and snes9x and when i try playing the game on either one when i wonder on the world map it freezes randomly. even if i load state it will freeze again and i'll be stuck so i was wondering how to fix this problem

i've tried following the steps on this web site http://www.rpgclassics.com/shrines/snes ... 2patch.txt before playing it but when it told me to use the DEXOR i couldn't find it in what it told me to download.

plz help

Which game exactly? I don't think DeXOR is needed anymore.

Isn't the Star Ocean freezing a known issue? Hasn't it also been said that it happened on the real SNES, too?

ok my question got answered on the other forum, basicly if i dont save state then it wont freeze. if i just save regularly using logs on the game it plays just fine

Yes it is. I don't know if it happened on the actual cart, but the game was buggy on the cart as well.
