Tales of Phantasia english download

I have a gba emulator and i downloaded ToP and i downloaded the English patch and i sent it to the same folder as the game but it is still not english what do i do now?

Do not confuse the the translation for the SNES version of Tales of Phantasia with the GBA rom you have. The GBA version hasn't been translated AFAIK.

This is a snes emulator site, so you can look for it around here, we can't give you a link to a rom because that's against the rules.

So, here goes.

BOOYA, full set for €25 only. My best grab ever.
T3# el337 setup (you can see PAR2 innards here).
It's alive !!! But PAL timing breaks voice sync. -_- Bleh.
Music is perfect, though. Go go Sakuraba goodness.
Title. No DeJap logo, grrr.
I still haven't forgot how to pwn this game.

And yeah, I suck at taking pics. Bite me.

That's pretty cool. If I had a copy, I would learn how to solder, get an EEPROM programmed, and get to work on the cart. Translated ToP on my SNES.

Heck, I wish I had a Star Ocean Cart to do that. Play translated SO on my SNES.

What was with the setup? PAR2 innards (Guessing Pro Action Replay, but why is there a second cart on that?

Yes, it's the PAR2. The second card is used to correctly re-time 60Hz into 50Hz. Lockout chips, you know.

First of all, those are incredible pics and I am fairly jealous. Was it ebay that you got it from?
But... could you give a total newbie an explanation of the above pic? Did you rip out the inside of a cart and attach it to the ToP cart or something!?

Nope, found it in an oldskool gameshop hidden in a small dark street in town. He even had japanese ToD and ToE, along with all SNES dragon quests and some pretty cool shit.
Guess he specializes on import, because the prices were quite low. When I saw a full ToP set I jumped on it.

But... could you give a total newbie an explanation of the above pic? Did you rip out the inside of a cart and attach it to the ToP cart or something!?

Nothing really, i just removed the plastic casing of my PAR2 so that the rear cart slot would connect correctly. The casing prevented the connectors from being properly inserted.

It's the only PAL SNES model, nothing special.

I only just remembered that the Americans had a larger, uglier model. I forgot about that...
