Pause Emulation?

Just pause emulation while in-game, then press Esc twice. I will then not be able to move the cursor in ZSNES until I press escape again.

I fail to see the problem. Since when can you move the cursor when not in the GUI?

Thing is, when I press Esc twice, it will not escape the GUI. Instead, it will remain in the GUI with a frozen cursor. When I press Esc one more time, though, the cursor will un-freeze.

Maybe it's a Windows only problem?

Pressing escape twice brings you back in game.

As I said before:
I have found upon exiting the GUI that it doesn't update the screen, which I'm working on.
If you unpause or frame increment after pressing escape twice, you should see the game again.
