Immediately after displaying the Atlus logo, the game appears to freeze completely with a black screen. This happens in both the stable and WIP versions of ZSNES, and with SPC emulation disabled.

Any other information I can supply you with? I really want to get some of these MegaTen bugs ironed out, Snes9x is tripe under Linux. :twisted:

I just tried this game and it works perfectly. Your ROM info is the same as mines.
Try out CCleaner and other free software at Piriform

Maybe Snkcube is using zsnes win version, if you are using linux, maybe it's an error that only happens in the linux version.

rm -rf .zsnes seems to have fixed the glitch, sorry to have bothered you.

...Well, that freeze, at least. Now there's another one happening where, after starting Megami Tensei II, if you go into the fourth door from the right on the bottom (right next to the dividing wall.) There's also a sound glitch in the Devil Busters town area right before.

Can anyone reproduce these?

I get freeze problems with Shin Megami Tensei (V1.0) as well.

For some reason the game freezes right at the point when the main character's mother asks him to wake up. SNES9x doesn't seem to have this problem, and the FAQ for the translation patch I applied mentioned that it had something to do with ZSNES's SPC emulation. It still froze even when I turned off SPC emulation though. Go fig.
