Aero the Acrobat doesn't work

Post by Allnatural »

No problems with the sequel, but the first game doesn't work. It gets stuck at the Iquana splash screen. I checked all the WIPs as far back as May 31 and the problem exists in all versions. Works fine in 1.36 however.

Aero the Acro-Bat TYPE:NORMAL
INTERLEAVED:No BANK:Lo CHKSUM:OK
VIDEO:NTSC CRC32:919F23CB

p.s. Forgive me if this was brought up prior to the board crash.

Then what are you whining about use the old version of zsnes (in a different dir of course) for the first game and the newer version for all the other games.

Uh, that's not whining, that's a bug report, and last time I checked, that's what this forum was for.

Sorry I was very irratated at the moment, but as for the problem it might be a bad checksum?

The checksum is OK. he posted the rom info already.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

The CRC32 is the one in NSRT so the rom is fine. I can confirm the bug too, it does get stuck at the iguana screen.

Ahh I see um, hmmm... did you try using a different snes emulator or did you try runing it in a window mode.

Running in windowed mode would have no effect on an emulation error. The game worked fine in older versions so it's a problem with the newer zsnes versions. How it runs on other emus is irrelavent.

Ignore rage46. He's a moron and shouldn't spam in threads of which he doesn't know what he is talking about.

Sorry to bump the thread, but as of the latest version (1.42), the bug still exists.

Anyone have an idea when this game stops working? WIP date would be nice if someone knew.

Last working WIP: 2003-03-11. It freezes at the Iguana screen in the 2003-03-16 WIP.

Thank you for resurrecting a thread that has been dead for almost a year.

Not.
