Why make another thread if there's an exising one and the post is on topic and not stupid nonsense.

Well, i must say that i agree about 3 posts in this topic :

1- If you want to use GNU/linux, then you are smart enough to figure how to do thingies and so, to compile the softwares by yourself :D...
2- Source Code + FREE is the best distribuition possible, don't the author of this topic agrees? ;D
3- Huuum, GCC must stay stable for long versions, someday in this millenium...

Now, if you use GNU/linux to stay cool with the people or only to use the "COOL" programs from your heart's content, just make partitions in your PC for win/linux/MacOS/*BSD/MenuetOS, and stick your life with this... Way more simple than someone could think PC some centuries ago...
