Are you using windows xp? Win Xp doesn't like Dos programs out of the box.

I got it fixed by going to options. I checked somethin' so it don't close. Now the program doesn't work. So it doesn't matter.

You want NSRT. It's a command-line app. Stick it in the same folder with your ROMS and run

nsrt -rename -savetype jma -lowext

GoodSNES and NSRT are what they are called. I rename with GoodSNES and edit them with NSRT. You can also rename with NSRT.

Learn to use command prompt. Google search some tutorials, eg.

http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1723

The easiest way is to stick NSRT in the same folder as the roms, create a shortcut to NSRT and in the shortcut properties add the command options after the target eg.

"C:\RAWMS\nsrt.exe" -rename -savetype jma -lowext

Exactly what I just did. I copied the nsrt.exe file to my game directory. I then created a shortcut and put the shortcut in the game directory. Now, I right clicked it, went to properties, and added -rename -savetype jma -lowext after
"C:\Zsnes 1.42\SNESRen\nsrt.exe". Like this.... (Target)

"C:\Zsnes 1.42\SNESRen\nsrt.exe" -rename -savetype jma -lowext

I go to open the shortcut and all it does is close back up on me. It won't stay loaded!

You should add an * at the end of it.

JMA is the best compression format for SNES ROMs - better than ZIP and 7-ZIP. If you don't want JMA, use '-savetype uncompressed' or '-savetype zip' instead.

I'm not sure what you mean. NSRT renames ROMs when you use the -rename command, as you did.

If you're asking if you can undo the rename, that's not possible.

No, that's not what I mean (thanks for the information you provided though) Anyways, what I mean is I want to be able to get a program which can rename all the SNES roms I have to their ORIGINAL file names. Like if I had a rom named 123.smc I wanna be able to rename that to the original file name.
