Two Super Mario RPG bugs (May 19 WIP)

The first is one that has been happening for as long as I can remember. When text is being drawn, the text box flickers. I undersatnd that pagefault is working on better timing, which in theory should fix that. Another problem is on the Level Up screen, where the text is not visible, no matter what the new/old GFX, layer, etc. settings are.

The odd thing is that, for the longest time, it worked.

I got the level up bug recently. Pain in the arse. Has worked fine up until sometime recently.

Could one of you find out exactly what version the level-up bug appeared in?

This is from another topic, but only as a reply so may as well post it here too. Similiar problem in Starfox with the graphical artifacts. Original post was as follows:

Not sure if this is existing or not but starfox has major problems with the new WIP. The problems are all artifact based though, so no "speed" issues or crashing. Let me illustrate:

btw, the problem with starfox occurs with the 04/04 wip, the 2/28 wip works just fine.

i'd see if mario RPG follows this same trend.
