Config saving to C:\ instead of Zsnes folder

Post by Kriegan »

I'm doing a 98SE clean install in a friends old 333Mhz Aptiva. I put the Zsnes WIP 519 DOS version on his pc. It runs great despite the specs, but for some reason, it's not saving the config file in the same folder as the program itself. Is this a bug or is it just part of the Dos version? I use the same WIP windows version on my current XP PC and I've never had that issue.

In 98SE he goes to the Zsnes folder and double-clicks the Zsnes.exe file to execute it.

I'm not sure what that sets the working directory as, but apparently it's setting it as c:\.

Create a shortcut to ZSNES, set the working directory to C:Emulation\Zsnes\ and launch via the shortcut.
