ok so assembler huh

Post by zoktar »

ok iv read the stickys and it says you wont be developing for sony PSP
buy zsnes beening my favorite of all time snes emulators im inquired to ask if any sort of assembler bridbe between the psp and zsnes would be possible, or even, (im wilding out of fantacys since i have little coding knowlage), "one a linux kerenl is able to boot the psp, would that significy anything, i guess the architechure depends on what cpu is used if iv gathered enuf noobness to know such a thing, lets just pretend that they crack it enuf to load a linux core onto it and from there start accessing all avaliabilitys avalible on the psp, if im not totally screwed on how things work, would it someone whitout much extra coding be possible to run zsnes to any satisfaction considering the crappy hardware u have to deal with on a psp, anyways id be vry happy for an answer possible an email at ccomly@home.se, thanks for taking the time of a noob.

i guess my real question if it where possible (if they are able to hack in a linux boot and get hold of most of the devices, would it be possible to run zsnes "out of the box" ? or just some minor coding or impossible ?

Even if you were to load Linux onto a PSP, it will not run on it.
You would need an x86 emulator designed for the PSP in order for ZSnes to run on it, but I doubt that would be possible.
In short, no ZSnes on PSP, even if a Linux kernel were to be loaded on it.
Oh, and one more thing... posting your e-mail address on a message board is a bad, bad thing to do....
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?
NSRT here.
