ZSNES's rominfo.txt

Post by snkcube »

Everytime I run a game, the txt file always save under my user name folder in the documents and settings folder.
ex. C:\Documents and Settings\name

This has been going since the latest WIP version and some older WIP versions before the current one.

Specs:
Pentium 4 1.5 Ghz
256 MB SD-RAM
SoundMax Audio
ATi Radeon 9100 128 MB
Windows XP SP2

It doesn't save it in the same place where SRAM and savestates are? Odd.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

After testing a bunch of WIP versions, 04/04/05 is the version that started going weird.

Sorry for another bump, but this problem happens on another computer I tried. I'm guessing this has something to do with ZSNES.

I cannot confirm this bug on my system, with ZSNESw CVS and Windows XP SP2.

However, I have a problem with the file when the path to my save directory is relative. When relative (i.e. ./saves), it will save in my ROM folder and not my save folder. When absolute, it seems to work just fine; it goes into my save folder.

I have a problem with my save directory as well (when it's relative). Quite strange.

*bump*

I think I found what I did wrong. I was dragging the rom file onto ZSNES instead of doing Game>Load. It's quite strange.

Another reason why drag&drop is ultimate crap.

Changes all the default working directories.
