ZSNES slow down on battery
I have been playing ZSNES on my laptop for a while, but just recently I decided to play while unplugged from the wall. All of the games slowed way down. Plug the lappy in again and it works just fine. anyone have some help? I am running Winxp x64 with a x700. Would the graphics card or 64-bit os have anything to do with it?

...You may also want to tinker with your laptop's BIOS. There should be a setting to control CPU useage while running off a battery.
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

Get the latest WIP, it should fix the cpu usage and hopefully that's what's causing slowdowns when getting power from the battery.

...Try a spy/adware scan, here or here.
If you have a virus scanner, you should update it and try a virus scan. Otherwise, go for a virus scan, here.

well it turns out that i did not have the latest amd processor driver, but still no problem fixed, but I am getting much closer. I keep al,l my anti virus and antispyware up to date so i know thats not the problem, im pretty anal about that stuff. I did find one solution to the problem. When I go to power settings and turn the power profile to "Always On", the program runs fine on and off battery power. This is because the cpu is always running at full speed (2ghz) under the always on setting versus other settings. Some how I think that in a laptop/portable setting, that ZSNES is not getting the system to move to a higher multiplier and increase the clock speed of the cpu to its max when it needs it. I know that my cpu will do this, because other programs I use have no problem pushing the cpu clock speed up on batt power.
