Hey, I searched this forum for answers but I couldn't find any so I decided to post ^^;;
I recently soldered a SNES controller to a DB9 adapter I bought at Radioshack and I installed the other adapter on the other end of the controller so I can us ein both SNES and PC. After finishing I tested the controller and it works fine in the SNES, but when I try on the PC it doesn't work. I have tried PSXPad, NTPad, and some others and no luck. I am running Windows XP Pro SP2. Can someone help me out? E-Mail me or add me to MSN if you want to talk personally.

Correct me if I'm wrong isnt DB9 a serial adapter? From what I was reading, PSXpad only supports the parallel port. And from looking at wiring diagrams for NTPad, it looks the same way, both require a DB25 connection and run off the parallel port.
Not Necessarily, maybe make another adapter that has a DB9 end on it, then using wiring diagrams provided on the NTPad site or the PSXPad site, wite those pins to DB25, that way you can connect your end to either your snes endot the parllel port end.
