I have the Logitech® Rumblepad™ 2 Vibration Feedback Gamepad.
When I play some games, notibly mario, I see the following
directional pad works fine as do start/select, however, when I push the buttons assigned to a/b/x/y there's a slight delay in response to them. The delay is about the time it takes to push and let go. I thought maybe it only responded when I let go, but if I hold it in, it works, but with the same delay. so there's about half a second after I push a/b/x/y until it responds
Logitech Rumble pad issue (delay)

sorry to double post, but I resolved the issue.
Problem was same as this one: http://board.zsnes.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=807
and the solution listed there worked for me too
(turning tripple buffer off)
