its a bit embarrasing to ask this but how exactly does netplay work?

and dont flame, i know in recent versions its dead and doest connect

sorry for the stupid question but i've only had zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) for about 3 days now...

You could also use a program like zBattle to make it easier for you. There is a sticky in the forum about it.
