Network Problems

Post by XDarkShadowz »

Me my cousin cant connect in the network. He starts the server and I connect. It says found client but it doesn't actually connect. There is only something wrong with my computer. He has cable and I have dsl. I went to 192.168.2.1 and configured everything. I disabled the firewall in the router page and forwarded the port to both UDP and TCP. I also disabled any other firewalls I have, but it still wont work.

Yes I read it, but I kinda got lost in a few steps... So I'm asking for the direct answer rather than reading that thread a couple of times until I understand.

What makes you think that you will understand the "direct answer" if you don't understand the guide?

... Does your cousin also uses a router or software firewall? He must set it up too.
