Bug Report:
---------------
I've recently played Mickey Mania and when I reached the Tower Level a noticable flickering occurs and suddenly more than half the screen is totally black. The game is still playable when the flickering starts, but after a few seconds completely unplayable with only 40% of view. I couldn't find any bugreport on this one.

I've attached several screenshots and a link to the save-state:

Haha sorry for that
I wanted to make a good report, so there ya go :D

My only fear is that this bug is known, but I couldn't find any forum material about this flickering.

So ehmm.. any news on this bug?
I don't wanna rush, but I'd like to play Mickey Mania beyond this point, if it's possible

Patience is a virtue.

Some bugs in ZSNES have been present for years. We don't guarantee to fix everything reported within any kind of delay.
Reports make us aware of bugs, and they'll eventually be fixed...

Does Mickey have in-game saves, or are you just using save states? If it has in-game saves, you could play it with a different emulator, like Snes9x or bSNES.

Unfortunately Mickey Mania is one of the few games where ingame saves and/or passwords are unavailable.

Ah well, I'll entertain myself with other great classics ;) A real SNES fan keeps on playing an loving the good old games.

Sorry to Drag this one up form oblivion. but I'm having the same problem. Game is the same version:

NSRT Game description:

Bank: LoROM
Interleaved: No
SRAM: 0 Kb
Type: Normal

ROM Speed: 120ns (FastROM)
Revision: 1.0

Tested out in ZSNESW 1.36 and 1.51. both behave in the same fashion.
Flickering first, and then a black rectangle through half of the screen.

Hardware:
Pentium 4. 2.0Ghz
Video Card: NVidia Nx6200 256MB DDR
768MB RAM

Microsoft Windows XP Pro Sp2

The Flickering and black rectangle only happens in that particular level were you have to climb the tower with the flames right behind you.

I've disabled all layers and still it flickers and then gets the black rectangle.
