Linux / Windows Netplay Help...

Hello,

I've a version of Zsnes installed on a linux distribution ( ubuntu breezy ) and a Zsnes version installed on an another computer with Windows XP Pro..

When I would like to lauch a netplay game in local, I got the following error message " Incompatible version "

Then, there's my question : Does a solution exist to make a lan game between a linux Zsnes and a Windows one ?

Did you make sure they are the same version? as in: 1.36 or 1.42n

Linux Version : 1.40
Windows Version : 1.42

I have installed the linux version via apt-install...

I'll try to install a more recent version on linux

It will works if the version are the same ? Linux/windows netplay with Zsnes works ?

I'm not sure, I don't use linux, but I guess it's compatible, I guess it's worth trying, right? But before doing so, try to get version 1.36 or 1.42n, those are the best versions for netplay.

How about going to Zsnes.com and downloading from there? that might, you know, help.

Yeah, but I don't find where the previous release download page is on the Zsnes.com website...

I'm searching especially for the 1.40 Windows Version ( because it's more simple to install the windows version than the linux version

)
