when i try to play it all i see is a black screen...

I don't really know much about BS games, but I'm quite sure it's common knowledge that you can't expect roms with a bad checksum to run correctly on Zsnes.

You'll have a good chance of you "disable SPC emulation" under sound. I think you are loading the patched version which bypasses the long wait at the start.

oh my gosh bs zelda works!!!

you are amazing vinzanity.

edit: i just beat dungeon 1 and i gotta say, this game rocks... if only "disable spc emulation" didnt disable sound completely oh well.

and yea once the game has started you can save state and turn sound back back on and continue playing via the savestate but sounds are still disabled.

im now thinking that this is related to a sound code error.

edit: i just beat level 2 and 3.
