What's the most stable and feature-rich ATI driver for older (R200-based) cards?
Is the newer 'ATI Catalyst for Older ATI cards 6.5' driver better than the old Cat 5.xx series?
What was the last (WinXP) version of Catalyst that supported TruForm for R200-based cards?
(ATI dropped support for the older cards a long time ago, starting from 6.3)
Which ATI driver works best with an old Radeon card?

Just go google last version of truform then. I'm pretty sure it was like the early 5.x like 5.4 or so.
Edit: http://www.rage3d.com/board/showthread.php?t=33830145 - this claims before 5.9

Nevermind,I got it working.
Any driver older than 5.9 (Catalyst 5.8 or older) works.
The tricky part was finding those older drivers, but fortunately driverheaven.net has everything you need
EDIT: From my testing,5.8 seems to be the most stable so far (even supports Truform).I've been using 5.9 all the time,so I wondered why Truform wasn't working despite being able to activate it through the registry.
Heh,not only that, but 5.8 has even less bugs
