Weird netplay problem

Well, im completely new at using zsnes (i've been using snes9x for a while) And, whenever i goto netplay, it wont let me chose internet, even when i have a rom loaded.. Also, zbattle.net doesnt work either, i can join and host games, but can't start them. Anyone know how to fix this?

Netplay is not available for 1.5x. Use 1.42, 1.42n or old versions of ZSNES. If you read the docs and/or the board stickies, this would be apparent.
