No matter what settings I try, speech bubbles always end up like this:
ZSNES: Version 1.51
ROM: Final Fantasy IV (J) [T+Eng3.21_J2E].smc

We know and it has been dealt with, please search the board before you repost something we have repeated before.

Searching for "final fantasy iv" or "final fantasy 4" gives me more than 300 results. Searching for "final fantasy +bug" didn't solve the problem.

Yes, I found that thread, too.

What exactly does that mean? Will I find the solution somewhere in the forums or do I simply have to wait for the next version of ZSNES?

Well, you could wait for the next version, but that probably has no ETA. You could use ZSNES 1.50 instead, if there isn't any oddball issues with other games you have.
Alternatively, you could use Zget, however, you must obtain a particular SVN revision before we dumped the old sound core.
Refer to these links for your own good - I cannot be responsible if you can't quite figure it out:

I'm sorry for derailing, but when you say "no ETA", does that mean there isn't another comming out, or we probably have to wait till after summer?

ETA = Estimated Time of Arrival
no ETA means that, no estimated time of arrival
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?
